SUMMARY
The story begins with a description of Madame Loisel. She is pretty and charming. She and her husband are not 1st class and not very rich. She really wanted an elite life and a very leisure life. The couple was invited to a ball and Madame Loisel got upset because he has nothing to wear. Hoping for her to feel better, her husband offers to buy her a gown.
Before the ball starts, Madame Loisel went to her friend and borrowed a diamond necklace. She was the prettiest woman and she was the center of attraction at the ball. When they were partying and dancing, she lost her necklace and forced her husband to look for it but they failed. So Monsieur Loisel thought of an idea, an idea that they both agreed with that they will buy the same necklace that madame Loisel lost. They bought the same diamond necklace in order for them not to be caught and paid it for 10 years. After all the burden, they've found out that the necklace was fake.
INSIGHT
When I read the part when madame Loisel lost the necklace, I was really ashamed and felt bad for her and when I read the last part and found out that the necklace was just a fake, I didn't know what or how to react because at first, I was thinking about Karma but suddenly I felt bad for his husband because he was the one who really sacrificed.
